Magnesia Carbon Bricks (CARBONMAG RMC)

The RMC Series by MRL offers a high-performance line of magnesia-carbon bricks, engineered for the harsh operating conditions in steelmaking converters, EAFs, and ladles. Manufactured from high-purity fused magnesia and natural flake graphite, RMC bricks are formed under high pressure and cured at low temperatures using a resin-bonded system enriched with performance-enhancing additives. MRL also pioneered the production of ultra-low carbon magnesia-carbon bricks, specially formulated for RH vacuum refining furnaces. These have been validated through over a decade of industrial use and are recognized for their purity, strength, and service life.

  • Steelmaking: Basic Oxygen Furnaces (BOF), Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF), ladles, RH degassers, VOD refining systems, and other wear-intensive zones.
