Our History: A Century of Refractory Excellence
1924
Origin of MRL
Established as the Northeast Refractories Plant, a state-administered research institute.
As one of China’s earliest centers of high-temperature materials, we pioneered national standards and trained generations of industry experts.
1950s-1990s
Evolution: Strategic Transition
Operated under several names: Shenyang Yuandong Refractories, Xingguang Refractories, and Xingguang Dongnai Refractories.
Transformation: In the 1990s, led by Mr. Yichun Lu, we transtioned from a state institute to a market-driven private enterprise, bridging the gap between research and industrial application.
2004
Rebirth and Modernization
Rebranding: Rebranded as Marvels Refractories (MRL) and moved to Anshan- the world’s magnesia capital- to secure premium raw material access.
World-Class Infrastructure: Developed a logbally leading manufacturing hub featuring:
- Ultra-High Temp Kilns: 4 specialized kilns capable of stable firing at 1850°C.
- Advanced Monolithics: A fully automated production line for unshaped refractories.
- RH Specialist Line: A dedicated line for integrated RH Degasser refractory systems.
Smart Manufacturing: All facilities are governed by digital control systems, ensuring absolute product consistency and unmatched hardware reliability.
Today
Globalization & Innovation
Network: Over the past 30 years, MRL has established a robust global sales and service network, ensuring rapid-response commercial, technical, and on-site support for international clients.
Expansion: We are actively developing overseas manufacturing facilities to enhance localized supply chain reliability and better serve our global partners.
Technical Advancement: As industrial kiln technologies evolve, we maintain synchronized development with our clients, pioneering advanced refractory materials and designs to address critical operational pain points.
Patented Solutions: Our manufacturing techniques and structural innovations have secured numerous patents, including several revolutionary breakthroughs that redefine industry standards.
