Our History: A Century of Refractory Excellence

1924

Origin of MRL

Established as the Northeast Refractories Plant, a state-administered research institute.

 

As one of China’s earliest centers of high-temperature materials, we pioneered national standards and trained generations of industry experts.

1950s-1990s

Evolution: Strategic Transition

Operated under several names: Shenyang Yuandong Refractories, Xingguang Refractories, and Xingguang Dongnai Refractories.

 

Transformation: In the 1990s, led by Mr. Yichun Lu, we transtioned from a state institute to a market-driven private enterprise, bridging the gap between research and industrial application.

2004

Rebirth and Modernization

Rebranding: Relocated from Shenyang to Anshan, the world’s magnesia capital, and officially established as Marvels Refractories (MRL).

 

Core Focus: Evolved into an integrated solution provider, serving five primary sectors: Steel, Non-ferrous, Cement, Glass, and Gasification.

Globalization and Innovation

Innovation: Invested in automated kilns and the RuiMine Monolithic Plant (RMP), ensuring precision and sustainability in manufacturing.
