The MDB series Magnesia Dolomite Bricks are one of MRL’s leading refractory products for the steel refining industry, with proven performance and strong competitiveness in AOD and VOD applications. These bricks are manufactured primarily from high-purity dolomite and premium magnesia. They are shaped under high pressure and fired at low to medium temperatures. Compared with conventional magnesia bricks, MDB bricks exhibit improved refractoriness under load (RUL), enhanced thermal shock resistance, and superior resistance to basic slag attack. With a well-established formulation and stable production process, the MDB series delivers reliable performance under severe refining conditions, making it an ideal working lining material for AOD and VOD degassers.
