GDN Series

Low Porosity Fireclay Brick (GLASSIMAG GDN)

The GLASSIMAG GDN series is one of MRL’s core products designed for the bottom zone of glass furnace regenerators. Manufactured using high-quality refractory clay or diaspore clinker, these bricks are produced through high-pressure forming and high-temperature firing to ensure dense structure and outstanding mechanical properties. With high cold crushing strength, low apparent porosity, and excellent resistance to chemical penetration and erosion, the GDN series is ideal for withstanding heavy loads and corrosive conditions at the regenerator base, significantly enhancing furnace durability and operational reliability.

Application

  • Glass Industry: Used in the bottom checker zones of glass regenerators across various furnace types. Especially recommended for areas with high mechanical load and exposure to acidic condensates or corrosive environments.

Glass
