On June 26, 2024, Marvels Refractories Limited (MRL) successfully hosted the 2024 Refractory Seminar in Shenyang. The event welcomed customers from the cement and steel industries in countries including India, Russia, Brazil, and Colombia, along with Chinese refractory experts and academic professionals.

The seminar was moderated by Mr. Li Yushan, Technical Director of MRL. Chairman Mr. Yichun Lu opened the session with an introduction to the company’s background, technological strengths, and international vision. Mr. Surendra Mishra, Vice President of Global Sales, followed with a presentation on the application and promotion of magnesium-manganese spinel bricks, sharing deep insights and field experience.

Mr. Li Yushan then presented MRL’s newly developed low-thermal-conductivity, energy-efficient magnesia-alumina spinel products, showcasing the company’s innovation in energy-saving technologies. Chief Engineer Mr. Guihai Liu introduced MRL’s refractory solutions for RH degassers in the steelmaking process, outlining practical applications and technical highlights.

Additional technical reports were delivered by Mr. Ye Guotian and Dr. Luo Xingyuan, each sharing research findings in their respective areas. The seminar featured open dialogue and active participation, with attendees asking in-depth questions and exchanging ideas on emerging trends and challenges.

The successful seminar not only strengthened mutual understanding and trust between MRL and its international partners, but also demonstrated the company’s global mindset and technical leadership in the high-temperature materials industry.
